Precincts are the basic geographical areas for organizing and administering elections. They are established by the governing body of each city or town, or by the county board in unorganized territories.

The list below summarizes major precinct changes since the 2022 general election as of September 29, 2023. Some of these, and many other smaller changes, are as a result of municipal boundary changes.
- Carver County, City of Shorewood:
- Changed precinct name to Shorewood P-4
- Cass County, Lima Unorg:
- Township dissolved, became unorganized territory
- Chisago County, Chisago City:
- Split into P-A and P-B
- Added P-C from newly annexed territory
- Dakota County, Empire City:
- Empire Township incorporated as city
- Hennepin County, City of Chanhassen:
- Deleted P-2 after territory annexed by Shorewood
- Itasca County, Unorganized Territory:
- Long Lake/McLeod precinct boundary adjusted to align with Northern Itasca Hospital District boundary
- Itasca County, City of Taconite:
- Merged two precincts into one
- Changed name to remove P-1 from name of remaining precinct
- Ramsey County, City of Saint Paul:
- Adjusted boundaries of W-1 P-2 & W-1 P-7
- Adjusted boundaries of W-2 P-3 & W-2 P-7
- Redwood County, Township of Honner:
- Deleted precinct after Honner Twp merged with Paxton Twp
- Rice County, Webster Township:
- Merged two precincts into one
- Changed name to remove P-1 from name of remaining precinct
- St. Louis County, City of Duluth:
- Added P-35, split off from P-33
- Wadena County, Leaf River Township:
- Merged two precincts into one
- Changed name to remove P-1 from name of remaining precinct
