Secretary Steve Simon's Statement on the Start of Early Voting

September 23, 2022

Minnesotans can vote in the November 8 election starting on September 23

SAINT PAUL — Starting September 23, registered voters in Minnesota can cast their votes ahead of the November 8 election by mail or in person at a local election office. Minnesotans can register to vote, request an absentee ballot, view their sample ballot, and find their polling location at mnvotes.gov.

“Voting is among the most important rights we have as Americans. With our vote, we get to choose the future we want to live in. This voting season, Minnesotans have a variety of options to make their voice heard. Voters can choose to vote early by mail or at a local election office or vote on Election Day, November 8, at their community polling place. No matter which method Minnesotans use, their votes will be counted with the security and accuracy that make Minnesota’s elections the envy of the nation.” - Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon
